Connect. Lead. Move Forward: building Bridg’s future together

How do we keep innovating, strengthen our teams and get even closer to our customers? With these questions in mind, Bridg’s team managers and Management Board came together at Quadratum 1769 in Herzele on 1 and 2 October 2026. Two days to shape the future and translate it into concrete actions.

Bridg is constantly evolving. With a clear focus on the public sector, we are continuing to develop technology that works for people, processes and society. This requires a shared direction, strong teams and leaders who bridge the gap between our ambitions and day-to-day work.

Under the motto Connect. Lead. Move Forward , the two-day management event brought these elements together.

Strong teams form the foundation

Day 1 focused on connection and leadership. Where does Bridg stand today? Where do we want to go? And how do we ensure that our teams help shape that development?

Alongside our software platforms and services, the role of leaders was a central theme. They translate Bridg's vision into clear priorities, support colleagues and create room for growth. Through practical exercises supported by our HR colleagues and the Build Your Dream Team workshop, participants explored what their teams need to work together effectively.

This led to the following insight: the best teams are built on trust, a good mix of skills and the ambition to create something together. That also forms the foundation of the work we deliver for our customers.

From expertise to a clear offering

On day 2, the focus shifted to our services. Bridg combines public-sector expertise with its own software and guidance from analysis through to support. This combination helps us understand our customers’ challenges and build solutions that fit their day-to-day practice.

During this two-day event, we looked at how we can translate that expertise into our offering even more clearly. With attention to what customers need, how our products and services complement each other and how we can continue working together for the long term.

Using AI in everyday practice

AI also took centre stage in the discussions. How can AI support our teams? Which tasks can we tackle more intelligently? And what does that mean for our services?

Bridg wants to embed AI further in day-to-day work. Human oversight at key moments and the protection of client and government data remain important guiding principles.

To turn that ambition into reality, each manager will choose a task to tackle with AI. We will share the experiences in our internal AI community, so that teams can learn from one another and further develop useful applications.

As a team manager, you want to motivate people and help them grow. It starts with understanding their talents and the role profiles your team needs. By giving people a role in which they can use their strengths, you build a strong team that achieves results together.

From great conversations to concrete action points

Each team manager went home with concrete actions to take forward with their team. These will have a permanent place in the ongoing follow-up.

There was also space to connect outside the working sessions. During a Walk & Talk through the Herzele countryside and a joint barbecue, colleagues from different units exchanged ideas and experiences. A team activity focused on social impact brought the two days to a close.

In this way, Connect. Lead. Move Forward brought together a shared direction, stronger connections and concrete steps. This enables us to continue building Bridg and the technology our customers rely on every day.
