Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate social responsibility
At Bridg, we believe that societal progress begins with the way we work, collaborate, and create impact. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is not a separate policy for us, but is woven into everything we do: from HR to technology, from partnership to sustainability.

We choose sustainable innovation

By opting for built-in task automation, digital workflows, and electronic data exchanges in our software solutions, we wholeheartedly commit to sustainable digital innovation. Furthermore, our software solutions are not only technologically future-proof but also socially relevant. Whether it concerns general safety, traffic safety, animal welfare, or the right to defence – through digitalisation, we help public organisations improve their service delivery.

Specifically, this means: citizens gain more transparency in their files, prosecutors and courts work more efficiently and safely, and through the software we develop, we support sectors that contribute to the public good. This makes our work fundamentally socially responsible.

Areas of focus: Bridge & Corporate Social Responsibility

People & work

Our people are the driving force behind Bridg. That is why we focus on a stimulating HR policy that promotes growth, well-being, and engagement. Employees are given the space to actively shape their careers through personal development plans, coaching, and a range of training programs. With the introduction of career paths, we also encourage lateral growth, not just promotions.

We believe in a culture of trust, openness, and ownership, and we actively seek out employees who embody these values. Cultural ambassadors and involvement in initiatives, such as creating the workspace, reinforce that feeling. The place where we work should also be a place where we feel good: we offer a co-creative and accessible environment, with quiet zones and space for social interaction.

Furthermore, attention is given to hybrid working and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Burnout prevention, stress management, sporting initiatives, and healthy lunches are part of the offering, as well as access to external support such as career guidance and a confidential advisor.

Partnership & customer focus

We build sustainable relationships with our clients. No quick wins, but long-term engagement based on shared values and social relevance. We listen, think along, and strive for solutions that truly 100% align with the needs of the client organization.

We deliberately choose transparent communication, proven methodologies (such as Agile, Scrum, and Prince2), structured feedback sessions with active engagement from the Bridg management.

Our customer satisfaction is periodically evaluated, both in steering and user groups and during Service Level Agreement (SLA) meetings. Annually, there is also an independent customer survey conducted by a research company. This way, we keep learning, adjusting, and improving.

Environment & workplace

We actively promote sustainability within our own operations as well. For example, we develop software that contributes to ‘paperless’ administration, minimize unnecessary travel through webinars and videoconferencing, and deliberately choose energy-efficient solutions.

Our new office in Mechelen is a fine example: thanks to concrete core activation, heating and cooling are energy-efficient, and thanks to its location close to public transport, we reduce our ecological footprint. Shower facilities and charging points for hybrid and electric vehicles also contribute to more sustainable commuting.

Social impact

We also explicitly focus on social engagement. We support charities that employees choose, organise sports events, and foster camaraderie – among colleagues and with our customers.

But above all, our greatest social contribution lies in what we do every day: strengthening governments through smart, sustainable technology. That is the core of who we are.
