Bridg launches digital platform for administrative law in Flanders in collaboration with DBRC

Bridg launches digital platform for administrative justice in Flanders in collaboration with DBRC
On 30 March 2026, the launch button was ceremoniously pressed for the new digital platform for proceedings at the Council for Permitting Disputes and the Enforcement College. This platform, developed based on our Nimbl case management software, represents an important step in the further digitalisation of Flemish administrative justice.

Digitalisation in the Flemish Government

Strengthened legal certainty

The official launch of the new digital platform by the Department of Administrative Law Colleges marks the result of an intensive process that began in 2023. In close collaboration between our case management experts, Atos, and the teams within DBRC, the platform was designed, built, and refined into a future-oriented solution. With this digital platform, procedures are now fully online. This ensures greater efficiency, transparency, and usability for all parties involved. Moreover, the system contributes to enhanced legal certainty for both citizens and businesses. The development took place within the framework of the Digitalization Decree of 23 November 2023, which mandates digital proceedings for governments and lawyers. For other users, the platform is strongly recommended as a modern and accessible way to handle procedures.

An accessible dashboard

The platform replaces the existing counter and offers an integrated digital environment for both internal staff and external users. Thanks to the scalability and flexibility of the Nimbl platform, we believe that this solution provides a sustainable foundation for the further digitalization of administrative judiciary. The importance of this step is also emphasized from a policy perspective.

With this platform, the Flemish administrative courts are taking the next step in their digital transformation. Proceedings before the Council for Permit Disputes and the Enforcement Board are now conducted entirely digitally, making them more efficient, transparent, and user-friendly. In this way, we are strengthening legal certainty for citizens and businesses.

Festive go-live

Such a significant milestone could not be launched unnoticed. On Monday, 30 March 2026, we were invited to the Department of Administrative Courts together with our partner Atos for a celebratory kickoff with all involved parties who have worked hard on this in recent years.
