Etex optimises production lines with interactive Power BI dashboards

At Etex, the aim is to strike the right balance between efficiency and quality. It is from this drive that Etex, in collaboration with Bridg, sought a way to positively utilise the data available from its production lines in the factory.
 
Having data is good, but it only becomes valuable when you can structure and present it clearly. With Power BI, part of the market-leading Microsoft Power Platform, a business intelligence and data science solution, we have created a dashboard for ‘Coating Line 2’, one of Etex’s production lines. The result? A dashboard that structures and visually represents live data from the last 24 hours. 

Thanks to the implementation of the interactive dashboards, team leaders and employees can jointly evaluate the production data from the previous day. It enables them to gain valuable insights, leading to faster and better-informed decisions and discussions on points of concern.

Bridg has been able to bring more transparency to the production processes and this increases productivity as employees can now directly see how their actions influence the output. Moreover, it encourages quality and employee engagement as they feel more responsible for their contribution to the success of the production process.
