The first six months of Bridg were full of energy, growth, and collaboration. From launching our brand to new areas of expertise and inspiring team moments.

What a ride

At the beginning of April, we launched Bridg: a brand that is 100% focused on digital innovation for better public service delivery in Belgium and the Netherlands. We believe that technology is not an end in itself, but a bridge to societal progress.

Behind a new brand is a strong team of employees. To baptise our 100 employees within Bridg as ambassadors of our new brand identity, we organised an internal launch in mid-June at Verbeke Foundation in Stekene—a sunny day filled with art, inspiration, and conviviality.

Expanding services

Subsequently, in August our portfolio was expanded with Microsoft Business Solutions and Data Science. With these new services, we are strengthening our commitment to supporting the public sector in their digital transformation. By using technology intelligently, we create sustainable solutions that reduce the gap between government and community and improve service delivery.

Strengthening connections

To get to know the new employees better, we headed to Sparkx Ghent, at the beginning of September — a sporty team-building event full of fun, competition, and relaxation. Some were convinced that their physical endurance would carry them far (and yes, there are clearly fit people among them), while others aimed for psychological games or strategic battles. After several hours of sports and games, the physical battery was completely drained, and it was time for a friendly chat.

Knowledge sharing at its strongest

Even within the other product teams, the excitement continued:

  • JustOne organised, as each quarter, an inspiring JustCafé with knowledge sharing and a session about AI in software development.
  • In the Nimbl team, they, following their monthly tradition, gathered on the last Friday of the month for their Crazy Friday with workshops and a fries mobile. This time for the last time at the Willebroek office as a closing event before moving to Mechelen.

On 30 September came the highlight: Bridg The Future, the launch of Bridg for partners and clients in the Handelsbeurs Antwerp. With a full house, inspiring sessions, and a hilarious keynote by Jeroen Baert, we proved that technology truly makes a difference in public service.

Behind the scenes

Much has happened behind the scenes:

  • Nimbl received new features (German language, expanded decision framework, improved error handling and communication integrations).
  • Metix centralized integrations into reusable building blocks that fully de-stress customers.
  • Microsoft Business Solutions launched a progressive web application that perfectly connects web and mobile.
