In June, we celebrated the launch of Bridg with our team during an inspiring day at the Verbeke Foundation. A moment to unveil our new brand identity, to reflect on our ambitions together, and most importantly: to get to know each other better.

Behind a new brand lies a strong team of people. To immerse our 100 employees in the renewed story, behind our strong organisation with a new name, mission, and vision, we organised an internal brand launch in mid-June at the Verbeke Foundation in Stekene. A sun-drenched day at a special art site in Belgium proved to be the perfect setting to celebrate the launch of our new company.

We started the day with an inspiring speech from management, focusing on our mission, values, and future plans. Frederik, our CEO, began his speech with: "We are more than just a software provider. We are experts in the public sector, that is our expertise and what we want to convey." 

After Frederik's horizon point, there was a tour of the impressive art site: from gigantic installations in the greenhouses to the surprising artworks spread over the 12-hectare nature reserve and the 20,000 m² exhibition space. Speaking of an impressive, sometimes a little absurd, tour, Matthieu De Zutter, Solution Architect at Nimbl, shares: "Our group for the first time stopped at the udder of a cow, more than 15 years old, divided into various cubes."

"It's nice to see how spontaneous conversations arose during the walk and how colleagues from different teams get to know each other better," says Marijke Geebelen, CHRO at Bridg. Exactly what we wanted to achieve with this day. The concluding BBQ in the sun created a relaxed atmosphere filled with enjoyable encounters and new connections. “It really felt like the start of something new, with a shining management team full of energy and pride,” says Marijke.

As a memento, everyone received a stylish umbrella and coffee thermos to take home. The symbols of warmth, energy, and connectedness with which we are jointly writing the new Bridg story.

With this day, we not only gave our brand identity a face but also gave our people a voice. Because, as mentioned earlier, at Bridg we believe that a strong brand begins with a strong team.
